Walks with Alan: Exploring Late Fall Color

960-11-01-18

Thursday, November 1

2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Alan Branhagen, Arboretum Director of Operations and published horticulture author

As winter begins to set in and the color fades from other deciduous trees such as the maple, there’s still color to be found at the Arboretum! Join Alan to explore late fall color in our elm, willow, larch and winterberry collections. From the bright yellow of the larch to the red berries of the winterberry, you’ll enjoy a glimpse of color before the snow sets in, and perhaps be inspired to plant your own come spring. Alan’s unique and engaging style will give you a new appreciation for trees, and inspiration for your landscape and future Arboretum visits! Park and meet in the Dahlia Parking Lot, directions will be sent closer to the class date.

Limit 25, Dahlia Parking Lot
