Catch the buzz…on camera! Join other photographers to learn techniques for capturing stunning images of beneficial insects -without frightening them away! Learn tips and techniques for
- shutter speed
- lens selection
- steady camera holding
- how to capture insects perched or in flight.
Classroom instruction will be followed by time in the field to practice your skills on the Arboretum grounds, which will be a-buzz with dynamic and inspiring subject matter. Insects are often found close to the ground, so you’ll want to dress comfortably to allow for squatting, kneeling, or even laying on the ground.
