Saturday, February 3, 9 a.m. - noon

Jim Calkins, landscape and production horticulturist, Research Information Director at Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association and former University of Minnesota instructor

Why do some grafts work – and others don't? Grafting remains one of the more mysterious and difficult methods of plant propagation, but with Jim’s expert guidance, you will remove the mystery and learn all about the different methods of grafting. You’ll have the opportunity to immediately apply what you've learned by practicing techniques to make a number of grafts in the Learning Center greenhouse – and take home the results!
