Join other photographers and nature lovers in this year's annual Photography Symposium, featuring award-winning photographer Chris Linder (www.chrislinder.com). Linder will share stories of the environmental perils he is witnessing as he documents climate-change research at the ends of the Earth. Chris Linder is acclaimed in his ability to bring clear and moving information to the public about science, to inspire the next generation of researchers, and to communicate the need to protect wild places. Trained as an oceanographer, Linder has documented 32 scientific expeditions, and his photographs have been featured extensively from the Field Museum to the Smithsonian and in numerous publications, including his own book "Science on Ice" (University of Chicago Press, 2011). His work has been recognized by the BBC, Nature's Best and International Conservation Photography
