Early Spring Beauties: Woodland Wildflowers and How to Grow Them in Minnesota (150-02-17-18)
Saturday, February 17, 10 a.m. – noon
Steve Kelley, Owner, Kelley and Kelley Nursery
Isn’t it amazing how we northern gardeners eagerly anticipate the first welcome blooms of spring? Much of the earliest color in our landscape is courtesy of the woodland wildflowers that are trained to bloom extra early, taking advantage of spring sunshine before the trees above them leaf out. Join Steve of Kelley and Kelley Nursery for a refresher on wildflowers- both native and non-native- as well as some that might not be so familiar. You will discuss their culture and propagation, and best practices for including them in your own garden.
