Discover Spring Peeper Meadow (965-05-29-14)
Thursday, May 29, 12:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m.
Suggested ages: 2nd - 6th Grade
Together with other homeschool families, embark on a quest to discover the function and value of wetlands in our community. A healthy wetland is a hub of life for aquatic invertebrates, plants, and animals. Measure the diversity of life in Spring Peeper Meadow, the Arboretum’s 15 year old wetland restoration project, and learn about how the health of a wetland can be measured by how many different species of life it can support.
