Chef Marshall draws inspiration from deep relationships he made through cooking for people and from farmers he has gotten to know through visiting and doing hard work on their farms. For 17 years The Birchwood Café has been a popular neighborhood restaurant, yet the unassuming café also attracts people from many miles around to feel "right-at-home".
